NZQA National Qualifications Services (NQS) has developed new unit standards to support the New Zealand Certificate in Foundation Skills (Level 1) [Ref: 2861].
Foundation and Bridging qualifications (external link). The new standards are intended as assessment tools in programmes leading to the award of the qualification.
There are 12 unit standards that have been specifically designed to align with the Graduate Profile Outcomes (GPOs) of the level 1 foundation skills qualification.
Programme developers may consider embedding these standards in their programmes.
NQS invites comment and feedback on the new domain and standards below.
Feedback is due by Wednesday 30 November. Responses can be in any form, including annotated standards.
