‘To change the mind’

A book and copper wire

Statement

This sculpture is about people coming together as a family or community to take care of our environment. The book represents a clock, The folds of the pages showing the ups and downs of the past. The covers are the hands of the clock showing how much time we have to change the path we are going down. The fallen leaves show growth and new beginnings. The tree represents life, family, community and the environment. The tree in the hands of the clock is a statement that, time is running out and we should be coming together as a community to help our environment because one day it may be too late, so even the smallest thing can help turn back the clock for the generations to come.
