My brother is my subject. He has cystic fibrosis, a genetic disorder which makes it very hard for him to breathe. It will affect him all his life, which is sad as he loves to play sports. Using three separate images, I have woven them into one reflecting interconnection and relationship. Tama shows how disjointed my brother is, with his body being held together like a puzzle. The weaving shows my Māori culture and how my whanau come together to help him through this.
