Kia ora, my name is Krystal. Im a Year 11 student that takes art, design and photography. I enjoy taking photos and I am passionate about my art. I am inspired by Lisa Reihana's 'Digital Marae Series' artwork, in particular 'Mahuika' to set up this portrait of my sister, as I really love Reihana's work from this series. I love the meaning of it and the beautiful way she broadcasted it through the use of leading lines, lighting and more. As a person of Māori descent I feel honoured that she has presented my culture in such a way that people all over the world can experience the Māori.
