Statement |
I am a year 13 student at Excellere College, in Whangarei. My arts media is photography, as it is the art that I am passionate about. This year for photography NCEA Level 3, my theme that I decided to focus on is "between two worlds". This brings attention to the "two worlds" that I define as, the western world (modern society, today) and the cultural world (traditional Māori culture). From this I have my subject that is placed in two very different worlds, expressing different personalities, trends and particularly the cultural setting itself. |
