Innovative internal assessment case studies
Overview
NZQA has identified schools and teachers known to be engaged in innovative internal assessment practices. These schools have taken up an invitation to stimulate our thinking about how internal assessment can be both innovative and meet NZQA’s assessment requirements around authenticity, validity and reliability.
|
We are pleased to showcase examples of innovative approaches to assessment, as described by the teachers, students and senior managers involved at these varied schools. We offer perspectives from teachers, students and management, that demonstrate how innovative assessment may enhance student engagement and achievement. In addition to the case studies we include research and tools to assist teachers who think this approach might benefit them, and ultimately their students. |
