A way of categorising a qualification. The NZQF uses the New Zealand standard classification of education (NZSCED) system; NZSCED provides common statistical classifications aligned with the International standard classification of Education (IESCED). course endorsement |
Course endorsement provides recognition for a student who has performed exceptionally well in an individual course. If a candidate gains 14 credits or more at either merit or excellence level in a recognised course they will receive an endorsement of either Merit or Excellence. At least three of these credits from externally assessed standards and three credits from internally assessed standards. Note, Physical Education, Religious Studies and level 3 Visual Arts are exempt from this condition. |
