Information releases
The New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) is committed to making government more open, more transparent and more focused on the needs of New Zealanders.

Advice seen by the Minister of Education
NZQA proactively releases material that the Minister of Education has seen as part of an ongoing commitment to openness and transparency.
This information is released in two stages. Each week, we release a list of titles of briefings and reports that the Minister has received from NZQA. Once a month we release the full text of the advice received.
We will release documents with some redactions made in line with withholding grounds under the Official Information Act 1982. Further information about this is available here.

Official Information Act releases
As part of our commitment to be open and transparent, NZQA is publishing responses to selected OIA requests which are in the public interest.
NZQA publishes responses to OIA requests, after requestors have received their response from us and only where there is no risk to the privacy of individuals.
When we respond to requestors we explain whether we intend to make the information available. Requestor names and addresses are removed before publication.
NZQA's OIA responses will typically be released on our website quarterly, or as otherwise determined.
