Te Ara Hou ki Te Ora unit standards focus on learners understanding the importance of Māori health models. These models are grounded in Māori values, protocols and practices based on a Māori worldview.
The standards are categorised into two kaupapa – Hauora and Whānau Ora.
These resources are to help teachers and tutors to assess ākonga against the relevant Te Ara Hou ki te Ora unit standards listed on the Directory of Assessment Standards and Skill (DASS).
Assessors can use the assessment support material for the Te Ara Hou ki te Ora unit standards to develop tasks and assessment schedules.
