Alignment of level 2 standards
Updated August 2016. This is a new document to address issues that have arisen from moderation.
Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (Explanatory Note 2)
Standards that are set at level 2 New Zealand Qualifications Framework align with high A2 – low B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (refer to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, teaching, assessment). Assessors are advised to consult both frameworks for guidance regarding the level to be demonstrated in learner work in order to meet this standard.
