Steps for creating score have been described: “I made my music in Sibelius. I created my bars. I added the text and key signature by using the buttons at the top on the window. Then clicked on the stave where I wanted my notes to go, I moved them up or down if they were in the wrong place”. Score exhibits the following Lacking stylistic consistency: The composers full name has not been used and the tempo has been placed above bar 2. Also, the dynamic marking in bar 7 is in the wrong position. Other similar examples might be, the title being out of centre or stems being too long or short. Unclear: Layout has not been adjusted to fill the empty space at the bottom of the page. Inaccurate: The score is missing bass clef notes and a number of notes in the treble clef have been entered at the wrong pitch. |

Steps for creating score have been described. “I made my music in Sibelius. I created my bars with the B button. I added the text and key signature by using the buttons at the top on the window. Then clicked on the stave where I wanted my notes to go, I moved them up or down if they were in the wrong place”. Including; A range of technical language has been used confidently and accurately: “Text can be added to a score using different methods. It can be accessed through the text ribbon tab, under the right click menu or by using keyboard short cuts. In order to add a tempo to my score I used the shortcut option, command, T”. Stylistically consistent: Notation conventions are correct, dynamics and tempo are placed in their appropriate positions. The composer's full name has been used. Clear: Layout has been adjusted so that it fills the page and bars are divided well. Accurate: Notes and symbols all entered correctly. |
