Statement |
I researched Pre-European and contemporary Māori design and designed a Manaia pendant during lockdown which was carved in wax on returning to school. Using the lost wax process, the Manaia pendant was cast in white bronze. The pendant is a treasure of the lockdown – Te taonga a Rāhui. |
