New Zealand Scholarship reviews
Applying for a New Zealand Scholarship review
Review deadline: Thursday, 9 March 2023
How to apply:
- Download and print the personalised Request Review application form from your Student Login.
- Read the instructions on the form and complete the relevant sections.
- The form must be signed by the student or nominated person (if the latter, NZQA needs written advice from the student as authorisation).
- Include all booklets, portfolios, folders or schedules for which you are requesting a review.
Note exceptions:
- New Zealand Scholarship Media Studies (digital exam only) - you don't have to return any materials if the exam was completed online. Email the completed form to reviews@nzqa.govt.nz.
- New Zealand Scholarship Health and PE, Dance, Drama, Music – no materials required. Email the completed form to reviews@nzqa.govt.nz.
- New Zealand Scholarship Visual Arts - you must include your Performance Summary Cards (do not send your portfolio or workbook).
Your entire application must be received at NZQA by Thursday, 9 March 2023. Post information to:

Note: Your application won't be processed if the information isn't received by NZQA's due date, or if you apply for a review using a reconsideration application form.
How long does it take?
A review or reconsideration may take up to six weeks to process. If the outcome of your application might affect University Entrance, please let your chosen University know it may take six weeks for any updated results to become available.
